Robert L. Trinka, MBA, FLMI, MHP, CIC – Chairman and CEO. Trinka is the founder of Phyhealth. He has 30 years of healthcare insurance and corporate executive management experience. He was a senior executive for 14 years with John Alden Financial Corporation where he oversaw its Claims, Annuity Operations and Provider Markets Group. Mr. Trinka was also vice president of Claims for The Doctors’ Company and a key member of its management team during the company’s start up years in the late 1970’s. The Doctors Company was one of the first physician-owned medical malpractice insurers and continues today as one of the largest and most influential physician-owned medical malpractice companies in the country. Most recently Mr. Trinka launched and expanded Phyhealth Sleep Care Corp. which operates upscale sleep disorder diagnostic and treatment centers.
Scott Moore, CPA, Acting Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Moore has been a Certified Public Accountant for more than 20 years and has worked in senior auditing roles at such highly respected national and regional accounting firms as Deloitte Haskins & Sells and Harper and Van Scoik & Company, LLP. Most recently Mr. Moore spent five years as the Chief Financial Officer for eAutoClaims, Inc., an Internet-based provider of vehicle collision claims services for the insurance industry.
Fidel R. Rodriguez, MBA, FLMI - Director, Treasurer, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Rodriguez has 20 years of management experience in insurance operations, information technology, managed healthcare administration, management of business process engineering, physician data management, systems design, and management of information systems. Mr. Rodriguez has served in management positions with John Alden Financial Corporation, Fortis Health, and Cellit Technologies, Inc.
Dory Trinka, MBA, Acting Human Resource Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Mrs. Trinka has 20 years of executive management and marketing experience. She spent more than a decade running Knight-Ridder and later McClatchy Newspapers’ largest direct marketing and custom publishing operations. She also served as The Miami Herald’s vice president of Target Marketing and was president of McClatchy Newspapers’ largest magazine and custom publishing operation.
